I stopped in at the Nordstrom Anniversary sale the other day and did not get past the bags and accessories. It wasn't any of the fall stuff that called my name but the summer sales bins. In one was a straw fedora. I have never owned a fedora but something about this one made me want to try it on. To my great surprise, it was incredibly lightweight and looked fantastic! It would look good on any body shape and provides a stylish, lightweight way to keep cool this summer.

Straw is an all-natural material that comes from the stalks of many grain plants including rice, wheat, rye, barley and oats. There will not be a shortage anytime soon. I became aware of the fact that straw is everywhere this summer. The next bin had handbags and half were made of straw. They can be dressed up or down and have come a long ways from the beach.

So if you want to be stylish and keep cool this summer, take a look at this natural fiber and look hot!
