Stylish Ski Pants
Sunday, 16 January 2011 00:00

If you ski or are thinking about starting to ski, this blog is for you. I have personal experience on this topic, having skied since I was 13. Fortunately, times have changed and you can now find ski pants that are practical and stylish. There are several styles to choose from:
Bib-Style protects you from the elements but has the disadvantage of being a little harder to put on and take off- http://www.justgear.com/winter/products/womens/RAWIK___7316A.asp

If you want your ski pants to look more like pants or jeans, take a look at the Spyder brand-http://www.usoutdoorstore.com/outlet/spyder-circuit-ski-pants-womens.html

If you are a plus size woman, try the Junonia website and their Plus Size Alpine Black Ski Pant. I don't have any experience with this brand but the description sounds really good. http://www.junonia.com/products/alpine-ski-pant/452100-3-545-596.htm

The most important thing is to go out there and enjoy skiing!

I am not a great skier but couldn't agree more. Be prepared and having the right gear is key. I will never forget my very first time on the slops in Vail circa 1985 wanting to be stylish so I wore jeans. There is nothing worse than wearing icicles as pants, which is what they were after only minutes, due to the fact that I could not ski! Love the fact that now you can find fashionable sports gear. Also, check Marshall's & TJ Maxx for great brands at reasonable prices!
